NYCAIW is an independent organization based in New York City that focuses on the insurance industry. We are a non-profit association of insurance professionals made up of women and men dedicated to the development of leaders in the insurance industry through education, networking, charity, and industry alliance.

NYCAIW members represent all facets of the insurance industry including agents, brokers, claims associates, attorneys, consultants, and anyone involved in the industry, including university students who are planning on entering the insurance field.

NYCAIW supports many philanthropic and educational endeavors in the New York City area. Our fundraising efforts allow us to sponsor two scholarships a year to women in the insurance industry via the St. John’s School of Risk Management. We also host an annual career panel for students at the St. John’s School of Risk Management. We have an online Thanksgiving food drive and support Sanctuary for Families through monetary donations as well as in kind donations via our annual back to school Backpack Drive.
